IB English Language & Literature Specialist | Expert in Text Analysis, Academic Writing & Exam Preparation
Hello, I’m Fay, an Ecolint alumna with a lifelong passion for English Language and Literature. I have been teaching IGCSE and IB English since 2014 and have served as an IB External Examiner for English A Literature since 2016. Since 2023, I have led a team of ten junior examiners as Team Leader (Senior Examiner), overseeing the assessment of Language and Literature components.
I offer personalized tutoring tailored to each student’s level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—focusing on text analysis, academic writing, and exam preparation. I guide learners in exploring nuances of style, structure, and context, helping them develop critical thinking and confidence in their written and oral work.
My professional journey spans public, private, and international schools, supported by an IB Diploma, a BA in English and Education, an MA in Education, and a Swiss teaching certificate. I also moderate IB English A Literature Internal Assessments and Paper 2, bringing a wealth of exam insight into lessons.
Whether online or in-person in Founex, my sessions are interactive, rigorous, and engaging, designed to inspire a deep appreciation of literature while achieving academic excellence.
